B.04.02 and were logged in the Software Status Bulletin (SSB) for ChemStation for LC, LC/MS, GC, CE, CE-MS: KPR #1434 Title: Module type incorrect in acaml file Description: The module type of specific detectors is not reflected properly in the acaml file. The module type should reflect the model, eg, G1315C. Instead it is reported as 'detector'. KPR #1438 Title: incorrect sample information in ACAML file after reprocessing if the file did not previously exist Description: When a sequence was acquired with a ChemStation revision prior to B.04.02 and without G2189BA ChemStation OpenLAB Option [OpenLAB ECM Integration] installed, the ACAML does not exist in the sequence data container [because it is only created when G2189BA is installed]. But the ACAML file can be created by reprocessing the sequence at a later point in time. However, after reprocessing the Sample Information will be incorrect in the ACAML file: For all sequence lines the sample information of the first run will be used. KPR #1439 Title: automatic upload "after any data modification" does not work reliably when keeping the Integration Events table open Description: The option to automatically upload data "after any data modification" is designed to upload data after a new result was generated (method modification and report generation) or manual integration. If the Integration Events Table is not closed before loading the next data file of the same data container, a different single run or a different sequence data container, or before switching to a different view or closing the ChemStation session, the changes are not recognized. As a result the trigger to upload the changed data to ECM or to mark the data as "modified after loading" in the report is missing and data will not be uploaded automatically. Temporary Solution: Manually upload the data set to ECM or close the Integration Events Table after the modifications. KPR #1456 Title: ChemStation .pdf reports not uploaded to ECM with the ChemStation data Description: It may happen that ChemStation .pdf reports are not uploaded to ECM together with the data. Instead .PDF.LOCK files are present in this case. This may happen when .pdf reports are open while a new version of the report is to be created or when not all of the .pdf reports are completed at the end of sequence acquisition or reprocessing when the data is to be uploaded. KPR #1476 Title: message to release data in the offline session while the offline ChemStation is closed already Description: The following problem occurs when acquiring sequence data to be uploaded to ECM and editing the data in the offline ChemStation already during acquisition: Even if the offline session is already closed before sequence acquisition completes, the user will get a message in the online session that he should complete his work in the offline session. KPR #1477 Title: Iso Plot does not open in Japanese ChemStation Description: In Japanese ChemStation, the Isoabsorbance Plot does not open. It is not possible to view the Isoabsorbance Plot. KPR #1480 Title: incomplete sequence container uploaded to ECM Description: Under the following conditions a version of the sequence container is uploaded to ECM that does not contain any data files and methods: During acquisition of a sequence, the user reviews the data already in offline ChemStation. After completion of the review the offline ChemStation is closed. When acquisition completes two versions of the sequence data container are uploaded to ECM. When the user starts another sequence acquisition and reopens the offline session in order to review the new sequence, a message will show up that modified data is saved to ECM. An incomplete version of the previous sequence container is uploaded to ECM. KPR #1481 Title: Unexpected method change flag appears with integration table open Description: During working with sequence data it could happen that the method was marked as 'modified' in the report. The integration events table was open, but no changes have been made since the last saving of the method. This behaviour does not appear with closed integration event table. KPR #1489 Title: Upgrade installation can fail, when data/method/seq paths are not nested in the inst folder Description: When the paths for data, method, sequence are set to be anywhere else but in the instrument subfolder, the installer will not find the val files from the early revision. The installation will not complete, but perform a rollback. Driver Service Pack 3 requires ChemStation B.04.02 SP1 to be installed. 3) Required Firmware ------------------------ ChemStation B.04.02 DSP3 requires the latest version of the firmware for the LC modules. It can be be obtained electronically from the following location: http://www.chem.agilent.com/scripts/cag_firmware.asp?nmod=LC The download includes a firmware history document providing detailed information about the required firmware revisions. The new LC modules require RC.NET drivers in order to use their full functionality. When using classic drivers, the modules are available in "Emulation Mode". For more details also refer to the above mentioned firmware history document. 4) Installation and Installation Verification ------------------------------------------------ See install.txt for Installation and qualification.txt for qualification instructions. 5) Service Release Identification ----------------------------------- Note that the revision code of ChemStation B.04.02 changes to Agilent ChemStation B.04.02 SP1 [256]
